| on his progress. He is in good spirits and making slow but steady progress and I honestly believe that in a couple years he will be completely back to normal driving his Z. I look forward to that post. His fiance told me that he can barley squeeze his in legs together and he does have feeling. It may not seem like much to us, but that is a REALLY good thing to hear as it means there are still nerves there to work with and lots of progress can be made from there with proper therapy. We all need to wish him the best of luck cause he has a very long and tiresome road ahead of him. If you do not have a facebook account, here is at least the latest update from his fiance... "SORRY ABOUT THE ALL CAPS- FOR SOME REASON MY KEYBOARD IS LOCKED IN ALL CAPS!! I WAS ABLE TO SPEND THE WHOLE DAY WITH ANTHONY AND HE WAS IN VERY GOOD SPIRITS. HE DID WELL ON THE SWALLOW STUDY YESTERDAY SO THE SPEECH THERAPIST UPGRADED HIM TO SOFT SOLID FOODS AND REGULAR THIN LIQUIDS -WITHOUT A STRAW ONLY. HE WAS PRETTY HAPPY ABOUT THAT, PLUS I WAS ABLE TO PICK-UP A THIN CRUST PIZZA FROM GINO'S EAST FOR DINNER TONIGHT. WE ALL K NOW HOW TONY FEELS ABOUT PIZZA!! HIS THERAPY SESSIONS SEEMED TO GO FINE TODAY. NO CHANGES AS FAR AS NEW MOTOR ABILITY, BUT THEY ARE WORKING WITH HIM TO STRENGTHEN THE MUSCLE CONTROL HE HAS. I WAS PRETTY IMPRESSED WITH HOW LONG HE WAS UP IN HIS WHEEL CHAIR TODAY- ABOUT 4 HOURS. WHEN I WAS WITH HIM LAST WEEK HE WAS ONLY TOLERATING ABOUT 15-20 MINUTES. HE IS PRETTY AWESOME AT NAVIGATING WITH HIS POWER WHEEL CHAIR AS WELL. HE DOES APPEAR TO STRESS OUT THE THERAPISTS A LITTLE SINCE HE GOES AT TOP SPEED WHENEVER POSSIBLE! HIS DOCTOR IS GIVING US A PLAZA PASS TOMORROW SO WE WILL BE ABLE TO TAKE A STROLL OUTSIDE SO I ANTICIPATE TOMORROW WILL BE A PRETTY GOOD DAY AS WELL. I WILL POST AN ADDITIONAL UPDATE TOMORROW.
